Commuting and Parking

Even with three colleges, five specialty training centers, and our district office, getting to your Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ destination doesn’t have to be complicated. You just need to know where you want to go. As a visitor, student, or employee of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, you have several options for getting to your destination college campus, specialty training center, or other site.

Traveling and Commuting

Depending where you live, you have a number of transportation options:

  • Drive and/or carpool
  • Take public transit – a bus or the train or a combination of the two
  • Ride a bike or walk
  • Take a water taxi or the ferry

Parking

If you choose to drive, you’ll need to know your parking options. Parking regulations differ from campus to campus. Follow the link corresponding to your college campus (or center) for information about parking and related policies.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ District Offices at Siegal Center

Like Seattle Central’s campus, Siegal Center is easily accessible by public transit—including service via light rail and numerous bus lines. If traveling by car, you need to know parking availability is limited, but there are private lots nearby as well as metered street parking.

Seattle Central College

Seattle Central's location in the Capitol Hill neighborhood is easy to reach from most parts of the city. Just minutes from downtown, the campus is easily accessible by public transit—including service via SoundTransit light rail and numerous bus lines such as 9, 11, 49, and 60. If traveling by car, you need to know parking availability on campus is limited, but there are private lots nearby as well as metered street parking.

North Seattle College

North’s campus is near the two major north-south highways, Interstate 5 and Highway 99, just a short drive from downtown and the University of Washington. Five Metro Transit bus routes directly serve the campus, and the nearby Northgate Transit Center is a major transfer hub for Metro, Community Transit, and Sound Transit routes.

  • – A designated visitor parking lot is located just west of the Robert Smith Building (RSB) at the main campus entrance. Visitors may park for up to 45 minutes for $1.00, using the visitor spaces along the RSB driveway or general parking areas.
